Terms and Conditions of Participation
- Organiser
The organiser of this prize draw is Traivelling GmbH, [full address as stated in the legal notice], Austria (hereinafter referred to as "Traivelling").
- Promotion Period
The promotion begins on 1 August 2026 at 00:00 CEST and ends on 31 August 2026 at 23:59 CEST. The relevant time is the completion of the booking.
- Eligibility
The prize draw is open to natural persons who are residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) and are at least 18 years of age at the time of participation. Employees of Traivelling GmbH and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Where mandatory legal provisions governing prize draws differ in individual EEA countries, those provisions shall take precedence.
- How to Participate
Participation is automatic upon completion of a paid booking through Traivelling during the promotion period. Each completed booking counts as one entry into the prize draw. No additional costs beyond the regular ticket price are required to participate.
- Prize
A total of 10 (ten) Marco Polo train travel guides, developed in collaboration with Traivelling, will be awarded. Each participant may win a maximum of one travel guide. The prize cannot be exchanged, transferred to another person, or redeemed for cash.
- Winner Selection and Notification
The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the promotion period has ended. Winners will be notified by email, using the email address provided during the booking process, no later than 15 September 2026. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of notification and provide a valid delivery address, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected.
- Delivery
The prizes will be delivered free of charge to a delivery address provided by the winners within the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Data Protection
Personal data collected as part of the prize draw will be used solely for the administration of the promotion, including winner selection, notification, and prize delivery. The data will be deleted after the promotion has been completed unless statutory retention obligations apply. - Early Termination
Traivelling reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate the prize draw at any time without prior notice if there are important reasons for doing so, including but not limited to fraud, technical issues, or legal requirements.
- Miscellaneous
Legal recourse is excluded. Austrian law shall apply.
